Since I arrived early at work today I had time to do this patch.
Doing it was a lot of fun because the scroller in the demo was coded
using graphics.library functions (BltBitMap/ScrollRastPort) so I had
two choices: either code the patch using KickEmul or recode the
scroller using the hardware, i.e. blitter. Guess what I did. :)
Not that it was hard to do but it is this bit of extra fun which
makes coding demo patches worthwhile.
I have also enhanced the selector a bit, originally the tunes
could only be selected with a joystick in port 2, in this patch
you can select tunes with cursor up/down and return keys. The
joystick control is still available too of course.
The demo also features a reset part, you can enable it with
Custom1=1.
The credits for "Scoopex Theme" in the demo were wrong, the
song was composed by Osterman/Scoopex instead of Uncle Tom.
I have corrected this!
Almost forgot, the code was encrypted but that wasn't much of
a problem either.
The demo can be downloaded here:
ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/Groups/R/Rebels/Rebels-SoundAndVision.dms
That about wraps it up, have a nice summer everyone and enjoy
the demo from HD how.
